Get Skinny Quick Scheme – Day 2
When all you do is drink all day, I guess you are going to spend at least some of the night getting up and down to the toilet.
And then every time I woke up to head to the bathroom it really played to my weakness…
You see I’m a snacker at night time. I don’t always need to eat late, but sometimes, when I do, it certainly helps me sleep better – must be comfort or something.
So last night around 11.30pm, after the third trip to the bathroom my stomach started. It sounded like a lonely wolf in a forest. After tossing and turning for a while I gave in and headed for the kitchen.
No while I appreciate that might sound like I’m weak, I did do something smart…
Yes, I decided to munch on the closest thing to water – a stick of celery.
GETTING UP TO EXERCISE
Exercise is an important part of weight loss and eliminating toxic waste from your body. But today I found exercise unusually hard to get started on. I found it hard to focus and get started. Usually I just get straight down to it, but today my mind was all over the place and my body felt a little weaker than normal.
ON THE PLUS SIDE
I do feel lighter after just one day.
Now I’ve sunk the first juice of the day I’m also reenergised and feeling pretty good mentally.
I managed to complete my exercise routine once I got started – 15 mins of abs, 20 mins of weights, 25 mins of rebounding.
I’m not dreaming about eating food!
Result!

Hi Neil,
I’ve just completed 7 days of this programme and I feel great. Yes, I’ve lost quite a few pounds but more importantly for me, I’ve now been a week without wheat, sugar and caffeine and can really tell the difference. I didn’t think I felt mentally fuzzy before, but now I feel very clear headed and new ideas are cropping up and I’ve noticed I’m stepping forward into action with a few things that were stalling. I definitely needed more sleep……was tired much earlier in the evening, but a good tired rather than feeling drained or weary. I’m perimenopausal and had been experiencing some joint pain related to it…and that is much less now.
On the activity/exercise front, then 2 x 30mins are recommended on the 7 day programme….the main aim is getting your heart rate up and more oxygen circulating around..and that could be a brisk walk, so kudos for you for doing ab and strength work as well as cardio. And if anyone reading this is unused to exercise then the brisk walk option might suit you well.
I actually found I went to the loo less at night…..see what happens a few days into the programme. Today I started reintroduing some items into my plan…..just had chicken and steamed veggies and they tasted devine……I feel my palate has cleared. Food for me is a great sensory pleasure….and as I advocate getting pleasure in your life whenever you can, it meant that I was snacking and sometimes eating more than I needed to. The 7 day plan has given me an opportunity to reset my taste buds, experience (rather than just read about) how I feel with no caffeine, sugar and wheat……and allow me to start making more informed choices through sensing the effect on my body as to what foods I now reintroduce……will be continuing with juices for some meals as I love the taste. Enjoy this opportunity Neil….so many people in the world don’t get the food choices that we have.
